Terms of sale

These terms govern every purchase on 3dtoreal.com — our custom 3D printing service operated from Dénia, Spain (the seller’s identity is stated above). You accept them when you place an order, and each order records the version you accepted. Sales to consumers are subject to the Spanish General Consumer Protection Act (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, “TRLGDCU”) and Directive 2011/83/EU; nothing in these terms reduces the rights those laws give you.

The short version: every part is manufactured for you, from your own file, only after you order it — so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. You can still cancel free of charge at any time before printing starts. Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled or returned. Defective prints are always reprinted or refunded — that right is yours by law and we never touch it.

How an order is formed

You upload a 3D model and the calculator quotes a price, valid for the period stated with the quote. When you submit an order we first review the model by hand; once we confirm it is printable you receive a secure payment link by email. The contract of sale is concluded when you complete the payment. We start printing only after payment — never before.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in euros. For consumers, prices include VAT where applicable; the quote, the order and the invoice each show the tax explicitly.
  • Payment is made by card or SEPA Direct Debit through Stripe’s secure checkout. Your card details never pass through our servers.
  • You receive your invoice as a PDF by email after payment.

Made to order: no 14-day right of withdrawal

Everything we sell is manufactured to your specifications from the file you upload. Under art. 103.c TRLGDCU and art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. By accepting these terms at checkout you acknowledge that your order is such a custom-made good and that the right of withdrawal does not apply to it.

Our voluntary cancellation window is broader than the law requires: you may cancel your order free of charge, for any reason, at any time before printing starts — reply to any order email or write to the contact address above, and we refund everything you have paid. Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled, and we do not accept returns of parts printed correctly from your file.

This section is only about the change-of-mind right. It never limits your rights when a part is defective — see “Faulty prints” below.

Delivery

We ship with Correos, with tracking, to the delivery address you give at checkout. Production and delivery times shown with your quote and order are careful estimates, not guaranteed dates. If we fail to deliver, you can require delivery within a reasonable additional period and, if we still fail, cancel for a full refund (art. 66 bis TRLGDCU). If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us as soon as you reasonably can — photos help — and we will treat it under the guarantee below at no cost to you.

Faulty prints: your statutory guarantee

The legal guarantee of conformity — three years from delivery for goods under Spanish law (arts. 114 ff. TRLGDCU) — applies in full to every order, and the withdrawal exception above does not diminish it. If a part is defective — failed or incomplete print, delaminated layers, wrong material or colour, does not match the order confirmation, or damaged in transit — we will reprint it or refund it at no cost to you.

One honest boundary: we print your file faithfully. The model’s geometry and design are your specification, so a part that is printed correctly but whose design does not perform as you hoped is not a lack of conformity. Our printability checks are an aid, not a guarantee that a design is fit for a particular purpose.

Complaints, applicable law and disputes

Write to us first at the contact email above — we answer quickly and would rather fix a problem than argue about it. As a consumer you can also complain through the official consumer channels of your place of residence (in Spain, the consumer affairs offices — OMIC — and the official complaint forms of the Comunitat Valenciana).

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumers retain any mandatory protections granted by the law of their country of residence, and disputes with consumers are heard by the courts of the consumer’s domicile.
